Lost at sea 1983 | Alex's 40th

I thoroughly enjoyed designing the flyer and poster artworks for my 40th birthday party which was an 80s themed costume boat party called Lost At Sea 1983 aboard the Jerry Bailey party boat. I started off by researching various design styles and trends of the 80s era to establish the look and feel from colour palatte, typography, textures and various design elements. I created the letter forms of the title type ‘Lost At Sea 1983’ from scratch as the hero piece to set tone of the scene. 

I had a blast designing it, nearly as fun as the party itself!
