One of the fundamental laws of physics in our universe is the ‘Conservation Of Energy’, which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed—only transformed. This principle is demonstrated by the oscillating spheres in Newton’s Cradle, bouncing back and forth continuously as they transfer their kinetic energy from one sphere to the next.
For an idea to be realised, unleash its energy, and truly make an impact, it needs a clear path to travel through, to stay on the right course on it’s journey into reality. The timeless principles of branding, storytelling, design, and animation provide that safe passage—bringing an idea to life in a way that resonates visually, emotionally, and conceptually with your audience. In turn, your audience returns that energy to your brand through trust, engagement, purchase, and advocacy—ready to be harnessed once again. And so the cycle continues, just like the spheres in Newton’s Cradle continue to bounce back and forth.
That’s why I believe in a principle-centred approach to my work—one that respects the individual roles of branding, storytelling, design, and animation, as well as how these disciplines interconnect and harmonise to create greater value working together than they ever could alone. By understanding your brand first and the story you want to tell, I can help bring your ideas to life with design and motion.
“Alex is a talented and dedicated motion designer who is very passionate about his craft and has a high level of attention to detail. He always brings his A-Game, goes above and beyond what is asked and happy to hustle to meet a deadline. In addition to his professional qualities Alex is a pleasure to work with personally, always positive and happy to collaborate. Alex has a unique, multi-disciplinary skillset which enables him to deliver large scale projects end-to-end on his own, as he has displayed with his involvement in 2x Ivy Thursdays rebrands and his work for Screamfest Halloween Festival. After working with iRock Entertainment on a freelance basis for over 10 years now and knowing him for over 15 years, I’m happy to say he’d be an asset to any team that requires his skillset.”
